This Level 3 qualification is designed principally for those who are, or intend to be, supervisors of food handlers within the catering, hospitality, manufacturing or retail industry.
Holders will gain a broad knowledge of food safety and food hygiene, enabling them to identify problem areas and recommend solutions.
The course is delivered in a classroom environment with group work and practical exercises. Workbooks are provided and candidates are encouraged to make additional notes. Completion of the course is subject to a multiple choice examination.
The course can be delivered over 2 or 3 days, depending on experience and customer requirements. However, we recommended that learners have completed a Level 2 food safety qualification or have significant experience of a food environment.
