The Level 2 Award provides a solid foundation in all aspects of food safety, and is the most popular course in our food portfolio.
This accredited qualification is designed for those who are, or intend to be, food handlers and can be tailored to individuals working in catering, manufacturing or a retail setting.
The course is delivered in a classroom environment with group work and practical exercises. Text books are provided but candidates are encouraged to make additional notes. Assessment of the course is subject to a formal examination, which is either multi-choice format at the end of the day, or via an open-response workbook that is completed throughout the course.
