All training is delivered by friendly, qualified and experienced trainers.
For individuals or small numbers of staff, open training course are held monthly at our venues. Forthcoming dates can be viewed on the Open Courses page. For larger groups, training can be delivered at a venue of your choice. This is a cost effective option for groups of 8 or more candidates. The two main courses for the workplace are the Level 3 First Aid at Work and the Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work. For those who are new to the topic, there are no prerequisites to attending the course. However, please be aware that the training requires an element of physical exertion particularly when demonstrating some of the life-saving techniques. Candidates who already hold the First Aid at Work certificate and wish to requalify can attend a 2-day First Aid at Work requalification course. Note that this must be done before their certificate expires, to maintain the qualification.
Those working or volunteering within the Childcare Sector will undertake the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid course. This training meets the minimum standards for regulated childcare and is ideal for candidates undertaking other qualifications for working with children. The First Aid for Schools course is aimed at those working in schools and other educational establishments.
