Training for fire prevention in the workplace

Our Fire Safety courses range from awareness level through to anyone with a supervisory role in relation to fire in the workplace, in line with guidance on the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Fire Warden or Fire Marshal training

Topics covered include;
  • Explain how fires are caused in the workplace
  • Describe the components of the fire triangle
  • Identify the hazards during or after a fire, including the products of combustion
  • Describe the characteristics of fire and smoke spread

Course delivery - A handout is provided and the course is certificated by RT Safety Training.

Accredited Fire Safety courses

The Level 1 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety Awareness covers basic fire safety procedures and is aimed at new starters or those requiring a basic overview. This half day course has a short multi-choice assessment at the end of the session. The Level 2 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety is a one-day course aimed at those responsible for the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
